Hello Friends and Family!
As you may be aware, JuJu Seeds Publishing (JSP) was born in 2003 with the printing of its first manuscript, Open Your Eyes, a book of poetry written by Gary J. J. Boston. Many thanks to all of you who have purchased a copy. The overall process (layout, format, editing, research, consulting, funding, etc.) of this project was a two year labor of love, the birth of which being no less than triumphant!
The overall theme of this book is courage and endurance through adversity. This important message can have far-reaching effects for people of all ages and backgrounds to discover that even in the midst of obscurity and confusion, lies the opportunity for healing and enlightenment.
This young author’s compelling work displays an intense, profound yet sincere style. At only 25 years old (he's been writing since age 16), he is a poet laureat in the making! This book is a "must-have" for your library. The cost is only $10.00 plus $2.00 postage and handling. Salty (Weathered) Tears - From "Open Your Eyes"
Tears of the heart drip softly.
A soft reminder of lost hope and passive love
A decaying constant in troubled lives
A chip on the luster of shiny hope
Rusting and weathered by harsh decisions -
Its sandy grit worn smooth by persistent wrongs.
"Grasping At the Darkness," from Open Your Eyes by Gary J. J. Boston
Reaching out to one's soul,
Never know what you'll find.
Reaching through one's core,
Never know how you'll feel.
But while wading through one's countenance,
You just might find yourself.
